This is by far the best consumer thermal imager camera I have tried.
In its price point, I don't see how you could do better.
This feels like a camera and has the same form factor, but it has both a digital camera and a thermal imager built in.
You can run thermal only, hybrid with digital camera (this is the best mode in my opinion, because it makes the thermal image high definition, Picture in Picture, and blended which gives everything a glow of heat reading.
The imager is easy to use with a touch screen, clear and intuitive menu options, and just the right resolution to be fun and useful.
As far as resolution, this is pretty clear out to 50 yards or so, and can spot the heat signatures of deer at 100 yards, but not with detail.
It would not be great for long range hunting, but it is a fantastic choice for around the home, auto shop, warehouse, etc.
I really enjoy using this camera and my kids think it is the coolest thing ever.
It has several thermal viewing modes, like black and white with white hot or black hot, this color palette that I have in the photos, and what I can best describe as predator and terminator color pallets.
Camera comes with a carrying case and charging cable.
I would definitely recommend this.

I have used many different thermal cameras over the last several decades, and this one is a great compact unit.
It's really easy to use.
It's resolution is adequate for most residential and light industrial use.
It's not the highest resolution I've ever used but for your average user you don't need anything better.
I'm very happy with the refresh rate too.
I can easily move the camera around without waiting for it to catch up.
The large screen on the back is really handy too.
The digital camera like form factor makes this easy to fit into tight spaces and very portable.
When not in use it comes with a nice storage case to keep it clean dry and protected.
This camera has a lot of different features and settings that you can adjust to get exactly the output you were looking for and I think this is an excellent camera overall.
I would definitely order it again.

One standout feature was the fusion blended mode, which overlaid thermal data onto visible details with adjustable percentages (25, 50, or 75 percent) and edge detection.
This made it easier to pinpoint issues such as insulation gaps, electrical hotspots, or moisture problems.
The device displayed max, min, and center temperatures on screen simultaneously, and I set customizable alarms for abnormal readings, which helped during HVAC and electrical checks.
Nine color palettes offered flexibility for different environments, and the 640 by 480 upscaled resolution provided clear enough image quality for residential and professional diagnostic work.
AI-assisted presets automatically optimized the camera for common tasks like electrical inspections, moisture detection, or insulation evaluation, reducing manual adjustments.
Wi-Fi and app connectivity allowed wireless transfer of images and videos for further analysis, adding convenience to my workflow.
That said, I noticed limitations during extended use.
The resolution is upscaled rather than native, so while it provided good detail, it did not match the sharpness of higher-end sensors.
The shutter button was positioned where my right-handed grip naturally rested, leading to accidental photos I had to delete.
Temperature readings appeared in a fixed corner of the screen instead of at the measurement point, requiring extra gaze shifts.
The screen size worked for on-device review but felt small for fine details without transferring to a computer.
Removing the device from its fitted pocket in the case sometimes took extra effort, slowing quick access.
Without optical zoom, I had to move closer physically for detailed views.
Some icons and advanced features had a modest learning curve, especially in the app, so I initially consulted the manual.
Overall, the camera performed well for diagnostics and guidance but lacked lab-grade precision for highly scientific measurements.
In the end, this thermal camera offered strong versatility and value for residential and professional tasks at a competitive price.
Its portability, responsive performance, and practical features made it a worthwhile addition to my toolkit despite the drawbacks.
